Anchorage's rich cultural tapestry

Hmong-Americans are among the ethnic and cultural groups performing their native music and dance, playing games and staffing information booths at "Meet the World in Anchorage," from 1 to 4 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 9, at Egan Center. Admission to the Fur Rondy event is $5 to $10. The celebration is presented by Bridge Builders, which seeks to promote diversity and understanding among Americans of all colors and creeds.
