A Healthy Aging Summit focusing on the Korean, Lao,
Hmong and Mien communities is set for 9 a.m.- 4 p.m. Saturday at Cal Expo.
Free health screenings will be offered along with information about herbal and
traditional medicine, recreation programs and advice on paying for health
services through Medi-Cal and other insurance programs.
Interpreters will be available at the summit, which is sponsored by the County
of Sacramento Integrated Immigrant Senior Services Program.
