OPENING TODAY: To mark the 25th anniversary of Hmong immigration in Minnesota, the Goldstein Museum of Design is displaying traditional and contemporary Hmong fashions in "Redressing Tradition: Hmong Clothing in Minnesota." With clothing and accessories on loan from the Minnesota Science Museum and members of the Hmong community, the exhibit's organizers intend to show that fashion reflects the culture at large and evolves with political and cultural change.  An opening reception features traditional sewing demonstrations and music, and Lao and Thai food.
